RGB and Sometimes Y: Packing Object No. 1
Found Styrofoam Packing, Colored Duct Tape, 2012

The back side is not yet complete, but I imagine an installation with several of these stacked in a variety of configurations.

This marks the beginning of a four-day experimental series in which I’ll be combining two captures from each day. One will be the ground while the other will be used as a fill for floating text.

I’ve just cleared the two-month mark of posting a daily RGB and Sometimes Y composition to its own Tumblr site. The color sequences are created through real-time searches of Twitter’s public timeline for the words “red”, “green”, “blue”, and “yellow”. The timestamp is from the moment I launched the script and captured the resulting color feed.
