Finally have a tally from the coins tossed into our installation from earlier this year: $195.25. That full amount will be donated to Avenue Community Development Corporation (Avenue CDC), a non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing Houston’s Washington Avenue and Near Northside Community.

Many thanks to everyone who visited Wishing Well for Houston and tossed some coins in.

Coin breakdown (courtesy Coinstar):
Quarters: 332
Dimes: 465
Nickels: 772
Pennies: 2515
Dollar bills (?): 2
uncounted foreign coins and carwash tokens: 12

Finally posted some images and video of our installation from January to my site. Better late than never, right?
